February 2015
by Arthur Le Feuvre
It is the Chinese "year of the sheep/goat"—if you are confused, the Mandarin symbol can be either. But, since we are dealing with sheep, let's go with sheep.
People born in the year of the Sheep have some interesting characteristics:
"Except for a knack of always getting off on the wrong foot, 'Sheep' can be charming company. Sheep sometimes hold back their emotions, and are not fully appreciated for their true nature. Still, they are first to complain about discomfort. Naturally pessimistic, mild mannered and even shy, the Sheep person is a sympathetic voice. Lovers of art and nature, they tend to spoil themselves. Still, they are creative, cultured and well-mannered - a civilizing influence on others!! Some Sheep are timid and easily upset, while others can be adaptable and sure-footed when the need arises. Either way, Sheep prefer to live and work with other people, and find emotional satisfaction with partners that provide them security in life". Not sure how well this fits a lot of the sheep cockies I have run into in the 40-odd years I have worked in the industry!!
So let's hope that 2015 is a kind year for the sheep, both the 2-legged and 4-legged sorts. We will do our best to ensure that parasitic nasties do not blight their lives.
